"Why do you read the genre that you do? What draws you to it?"

My Answer:
Well I read a whole range of genres; paranormal, historical romance, fantasy...I primarily seem drawn to Fantasy or Paranormal books, maybe because I want to believe there is more to life than just the usual thing.  Contemporary books, by in large, tend to bore me because even though its not something I've experienced, its heck of a lot more plausible than becoming a dragonslayer and saving the world routinely.

I was always one of those kids who liked to play make believe.  I had an imaginary friend, I used to pretend (at recess in first grade) that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were calling me on my cardboard walkie-talkie to help them out with some caper.  Though I was equally entranced by Star Trek, by the idea of living on a ship and traveling through space or on a space station and being the first contact for new races.  That's all been so fascinating for me.
