Every so often, especially with older books or books not due out for a while, I just want to exclaim a certain happiness for them.  So welcome to an infrequent feature here known as 'Book Fangirl'ing'.  Whenever I have time I will choose 2-3 books I'm reading or will soon be reading and do my best to articulate why I'm so excited.


Title: Onyx
Series: The Luxe Book 2
Author: Jennifer L. Armentrout
Genre: YA Paranormal
140 character or less premise: Book loving girl meets hot jerkish neighbor boy who infuriates her almost as much as he blinds her. Also cookies are foreplay for these two.
Reasons I Fangirl: Daemon is hot, Katy is as likely to stab him as often as kiss him, Dee is awesome, and Katy is a book blogger. References to everything from ARC's to Followers are included.


Title: The Bachelor Prince
Series: Harlequin Pink
Author: Debbie Macomber, art by Misao Hoshiai
Genre: Contemporary Romance manga
140 character or less premise:  Attractive foreign Prince needs wealthy American wife to save his country. Love ensues with a penniless peon.
Reasons I Fangirl: To be honest I have 3 reasons.  1) I own the Japanese version. 2) I read the original Harlequin novel years ago. I lied there's only 2. This isn't a great manga, but its a passably good romance and the art is at least pretty.


Title: Skies of Fire
Series: The Ether Chronicles Book 1
Author: Zoe Archer
Genre: Steampunk Romance
140 character or less Premise: Girl sleeps w/guy, guy becomes a superhuman weapon of Mass Destruction. Girl suddenly remembers why she needed guy's help...romance ensues.
Reasons I Fangirl: Zoe Archer.  Steampunk. The cover. Zoe Archer. I think that about covers it for me.
