The 9 month Bucket List!
Over at Mia Marlowe (aka Deb Roe aka Emily Bryan)'s blog she posted two lists that she wanted to achieve before her first book (as Mia Marlowe) was released, To Touch a Thief (May 2011).  I felt inspired!

I don't have a book coming out, but I do have something to aspire towards--my 27th Birthday. So here's the dealio: I'm going to post a 'Bucket List' to complete by my 27th birthday.  I'll make an official like post later, but here's what I want to have done by then:

1. Lose 2 sizes (I'm a size 9/10, I'd like to be a 5/6)
2. Finish my Associate's Degree (I have another 4 classes I need to finish)
3. Gain some gainful employment (unemployed right now)
4. Pay off my credit card debt ($600 to pay off...)
5. Go on a real vacation (one that doesn't involve a convention of some sort)
6. Submit a manuscript (I don't need a contract, I just want to actually submit one)
7. Find a hobby (outside of reading, writing, video games)
8. Host a dinner party (for more than just my family)
9. ?

(9) is left blank because I want suggestions.  I'm open to anything that is legal, won't cause me to cheat on my S.O. and (hopefully) won't end in my death.  Cost is a factor, but if its something too costly I can always save up to it.

I'll have a more official post after I get home, but let the ideas percolate.  Toss some out there.  Let's see if we can make the last 8 months before my 27th a year to remember!
